June 2026 Round-Up: Live Music, Festivals & New Music
June has been a fantastic month, filled with live performances, festival appearances and exciting opportunities to share new music with audiences across the UK.
As an independent UK country singer-songwriter, every month brings something different, and June was a wonderful reminder of why I love performing live.
Festival Season Begins
One of the highlights of the month was performing an acoustic set at Home Farm Festival in Somerset alongside Patrick. Playing on The Dutch Stage in the sunshine, surrounded by beautiful countryside and a brilliant festival atmosphere, was the perfect way to kick off the summer festival season.
Acoustic festival performances are always special because they allow the songs to take centre stage. It was a pleasure to perform a mixture of original music and covers for such a welcoming audience.
Celebrating Songwriting
June also included the opportunity to take part in a Nashville-style writers round at the Masonic Hall in Sudbury.
Sharing the stage with fellow songwriters Sarah-Louise, Rob Lewis and Andy Pike made for an evening centred around storytelling, songwriting and the inspiration behind each performance. Writers rounds offer a unique opportunity to connect with audiences in a more intimate setting, where every song has a story to tell.
Supporting Jon Bovi UK
Towards the end of the month, I had the privilege of supporting Jon Bovi UK at Leo's Red Lion in Gravesend.
Despite one of the hottest evenings of the year, it was fantastic to see so many people supporting live music. One of the standout moments of the night was joining the band to perform Who Says You Can't Go Home, singing the Jennifer Nettles part alongside them. It's a song I've always loved, so performing it live was a real highlight.
Sharing New Music
Away from the stage, June was also an exciting month for my Fan Club, who were the very first people to hear acoustic performances of two brand-new songs from my upcoming album, along with an exclusive first play of my next single.
Giving supporters an early look behind the scenes of new music is one of my favourite parts of being an independent artist, and I'm incredibly grateful for the encouragement and enthusiasm they've shown throughout this project.
Looking Ahead
With festival season continuing, more live dates on the calendar and new music getting closer to release, there's plenty to look forward to over the coming months.
A huge thank you to everyone who came to a show, listened to my music, supported online or continues to follow my journey. Your support makes it possible for independent artists like me to keep writing, recording and performing.
