August Round-Up: Live Music, Country-Pop & Summer Shows
August has been a busy month of live music, songwriting and plenty of time on the road with some brilliant opportunities to perform, meet audiences and soak up the summer festival atmosphere.
From live country-pop performances and intimate acoustic sets to festival stages and time spent with fellow musicians, it’s been a month full of the things I love most about being a singer-songwriter.
One of the highlights was Country Calling, a festival in my hometown where I was lucky enough to perform three different sets across the weekend — with my band, solo and as a duo. Three stages, three very different performances and one extremely dusty pair of boots!
It’s been another lovely reminder of just how much I enjoy performing live, whether that’s with the full band, as a duo or stripped back to just me and a guitar.
As we head into the next few months, there’s plenty more live music, country-pop and new adventures to come. Thank you, as always, for following along and supporting my music.
